Holy Crap

I am a keyholder at work. Basically an assistant manager: without the pay or 50 hour work week. However, I am the Manager on Duty (MOD) when no ‘official’ manager is there. So I open and close the store.

Tonight was one of the nights I was MOD. Our store hours are 9am - 9:30pm 7 days a week. When I close, I typically get us out of there by 10pm. (We have to stay and get the store straightened up and ready for business the following day). Tonight we got out of there at 1043. It was C R A Z Y busy. Our sales goal was just shy of 12K dollars. We did just OVER 20K. Yeah B U S Y as shit.

We had two brand new girls at customer service. They were scheduled alone (don’t get me started on THAT one). Half of my registers crashed at one point or another. It was fun (rolling eyes).

Lithie came and helped recover merchandise (basically straighten up racks of clothes) and I’m SO thankful that she did.

So I’m exhausted. I got a 6 minute lunch today. I DID sit down during it though. It was just too busy for me to take my full 30 minute lunch.

Yeah SOOOOO happy I have a three day weekend.

Moving

No, I’m not moving.  Well okay–I kinda am.  From Lappy to Mackie.

I have over two years worth of shit VERY important files, bookmarks, pictures, etc. on Lappy.  I’m moving them to Mackie.  I remembered a day or so ago that I have a gazillion bagillion bookmarks in Firefox.  Yeah SO not going through them to decide which to keep.

When in doubt: Google it.  I tried searching on Lifehacker, but they suggested finding your somethingorother file and restoring it.  Yeah, that’s a PITA (although I tried it).

Where was I?  Oh yeah.  Google.  I heart Google.  Google is God, if I believed in God.

So I googled something about moving Firefox bookmarks and Foxmarks came up as the first option.  SO EASY.  You download it on both computers and it syncs them.  So now my bookmarks are on Mackie. w00t.

One step closer to installing Ubuntu on Lappy.

Okay it’s been on my to-do list forever

or so it would seem.

Updating my paperblogs.  So I’ll get them up today (assuming WordPress cooperates!)
